Kim Butler Napurrula was born in 1971 at the community of Papunya. She returned to her homelands & the township of Kiwirkurra with her mother Katjarra Butler Napaltjarri & father Anatjari Tjakamarra during the 80’s. Her father now deceased was one of the founding painters in the movement & her mother is now a senior artist.

Kim is sure to follow in the footsteps of the masters.
