Christine Campbell Nangala is the daughter of Dinny Campbell Tjampitjinpa who is one of the founding members of the Papunya Tula Art Movement. Her Mother Bambutu Napangardi(Mrs Campbell) is also an acclaimed artist. Christine was born in Papunya and relocated to Kintore in the late 80,s when many of the Pintupi & Luritja families returned to their Homelands. She paints her Grandmothers Country paying homage to the water source and bush tuker surrounding the sites of Naami & Marrapinti. Her styles vary sometimes depicting the linear designs of the Tingari cycle or iconography depicting Sand hills,Kampurrapa(bush raisan) and Waterholes.
Christine is an artist with great talent passed on from her parents and is sure to be a major painter in future of the movement
